The guiding questions for adults provide valuable information about the diversity of difficulties that may arise and are a clear reminder that each individual is different and should be treated and evaluated as such. The following list promotes self-knowledge and is indicative of future evaluation needs.
Below are the most predictive questions for Dyslexia with relative importance to each question. Next to each line you can keep a count of your score and at the end calculate the total.
While not a diagnostic tool, research suggests that a score above 60 indicates possible signs compatible with Dyslexia.
It is important to remember that this test does not constitute an evaluation or diagnosis of Dyslexia. It is just an indication of difficulty in some areas related to Dyslexia. However, this questionnaire may indicate that additional professional evaluation would be helpful.
